The contact form asks for your name, reply email and message so Augustine Steele can receive and respond to your enquiry. It does not subscribe you to a mailing list. Please do not include passwords, payment details or other sensitive information.
How messages are handled
Formspree processes form submissions and forwards them to the author’s private receiving mailbox. That receiving address is not displayed on this website. Formspree also processes technical information, including IP addresses, to operate the service and filter spam. See Formspree’s privacy policy for its practices.
The current free plan keeps submission history in Formspree for 30 days. Copies forwarded to the receiving mailbox are separate and are not automatically deleted by that limit. You can use the contact form for questions about your message or to request its deletion.
Website hosting and external links
This website uses ChatGPT Sites hosting. OpenAI’s privacy policy describes its data practices. Book links lead to Amazon, Kobo and Google Play, which have their own privacy policies and account settings. The embedded YouTube player uses YouTube’s privacy-enhanced domain; playing it connects to YouTube. Its player API reports playback status so we can count sample starts.
Simple, privacy-conscious statistics
We count homepage views, sample playback starts and clicks to Kobo and Google Play. A separate count records clicks to open the longer sample on YouTube. Our counters keep only totals per UTC day and fixed action names, for the last 180 days. Older totals are removed when the next event is recorded. They do not store visitor names, email addresses, IP addresses, visitor identifiers, fingerprints, referral URLs, individual event histories or listening profiles. They do not identify purchases.
No analytics cookie, advertising tracker or external analytics provider is added. A sample is counted once per player per page load, when it begins playing; pausing and resuming does not count again. Hosting providers still receive ordinary technical requests and have their own operational data practices, including the separate Sites traffic statistics described by OpenAI.
These first-party counters respect Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control browser signals. You can also turn counting off below. The choice is stored only in this browser as a simple on/off preference, with no identifier, and does not disable the hosting provider’s operational records or third-party players. Contact-form messages are separate from the counters.

Private owner access
The statistics dashboard requires the website owner to sign in with ChatGPT. The server uses the authenticated account identity and email to allow owner access; that email is not shown publicly and is not stored in the visit totals. Ordinary visitors do not need to sign in.
No newsletter software is installed.
